Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began in supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also had a supporting part in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices several characters from the animated series Family Guy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and she moved to California [1] where they lived for a year , before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge became fascinated by photography, acting and singing at the age of 13. Breckenridge returned to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
