Anne W. Burrell is a American TV personality who is a chef, and a ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell is host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up appearance, shares tips on how to prepare restaurant-style meals at home, using easy methods. Chef Burrell studied and worked at the top New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Early on, while growing up in the upstate area of New York, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her after she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful adventure. I was never able to study or accomplish enough. After graduating, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Burrell gained a greater understanding of Italian culinary and cultural traditions throughout her time in Italy and this has affected her cooking style. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children living with difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness. In her capacity as a speaker, she travels across the nation to share her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field.
